:CW/TW- B0mb, mentions of murd3r | POV- Goldbeast: I'm the only one powerful enough to morph into Chrysaetian form while outside the Voids. The other two mentors can't yet. I close my eyes and feel my own power washing over me. In a moment I'm back into the body Sable and Onyx only saw in dreams. Flexing my claws, I turn to the other mentors, who nod and grab their weapons from their belts. And then I blast open the ground. The explosion makes no sound except for the stone hitting the dirt by our feet. And where I blasted is a tunnel, big enough for me to fit through with my wings tucked at my sides. We emerge in an empty cell. I force open the thick metal door and walk into a dimly lit hallway. The two mentors head off in separate directions, and I keep going straight. I'm alone with the sound of my claws clicking on the tile, my wings dragging, and my breathing. Sometimes, shouts, screeches, and thuds echo from across the lab, but I ignore them, only stopping to pray no therians get too hurt. Finally, I reach my destination, the computer lab. The door is locked, so I kick it open, leaving my hind legs scratched and oozing liquid. The hallway is eerily silent, except for the sound of people desperately typing away on their computers, only aware that someone's trying to break into their connection. The last door at the end is wide open. Someone was in a big hurry to leave. A faint ticking comes from the room. Tick. Tick. Tick. I pry open a cabinet and find the source of the ticking- a small black box. I hope this is the thing I came for, or I just wasted precious time. The box gives way after two sharp blows, and I pull out the thing inside, feeling a grin form on my face. This is it. The b0mb's timer reads 4:00:00. Four hours to kill Lewis. Four hours to override the system. Four hours to get this to Sable and evacuate everyone. My smile falls as I realize we're screwed.
