The finale. Man I can´t believe it is already almost time for this series to end. I wonder what is next? The mirror seemed to be fighting against Frankie. Every outfit she tried seemed to argue and bicker that it wasn't the right one. Frankie sighed and flopped down onto her bed. She had to find the perfect outfit for tonight. Probably the most important night of her life. Looking around her room, she searched for the right clothes. After hours of trying on different styles, she decided to wear her favorite hoodie and a pair of slacks. She put on some socks, and grabbed her purple hightops. Stuffing her feet into the shoes, she tied them and ran out the door. Lilith could feel the sweat drip down her face as she ran. The faster she ran, the longer it seemed to take. She couldn’t be late, not to this. Forcing her legs forward, despite their arguing, she rushed ahead. Insight she could see her goal. The sign painted to resemble a kitten told Lilith she was nearly there. Pushing forward, Lilith saw the Cat Cafe come into view. Skidding to a stop, Lilith took a moment to catch her breath. Resting her hands on her knees, she thought about how all those pacer tests in school hadn’t been worthless. Bringing her head up, she looked around for Frankie. Maybe she’d already gone inside. Lilith looked down to check her phone. It said six thirty. She was early! As Frankie headed to the Cat Cafe, she checked her phone. Realizing she was going to be late, she rushed ahead. Her feet pounded against the pavement as she reached the cafe. Outside of it, Frankie saw Lily standing there waiting for her. “ Hey Franks,” Lily said as she saw Frankie approach. Her smile was wider than Frankie had ever seen it. Frankie could even smell the faint scent of cologne. “ Hi Lily, you're actually early,” Frankie commented, smiling. “ Yeah well, this is important,” Lilith replied, blushing. Frankie couldn’t believe that she’d almost lost this wonderful girl. “ So… you want to go inside and get some food?” Lilith asked, looking Frankie fondly in the eye. The two of them walked inside the cafe, and sat down. After ordering, Lilith and Frankie began to talk. The warm light from the streetlamp shone at the window next to them. In the atmosphere there was a soft feeling. Lilith could hear Frankie’s laugh imitate in the air. It’s soft sound ringing through the Cafe. Lilith felt a warmness in her heart spread throughout her. This wonderful person was like an angel from heaven, and she’d inexplicably fallen in love with Lilith. “ It’s amazing,” Lilith muttered to herself, but Frankie heard. She smiled and asked “ What do you mean?” “ It’s amazing someone like you would fall for me. That you came into my life. That you care about me. It’s almost like a dream,” Lilith answered. “ Believe me. It’s very real,” Frankie answered, her warm radiance shining. As her shoe laces hit the ground, Frankie felt her heart race. "Just relax," she told herself. But the words were pointless. She was very happy. Everything felt right. The warm weather, the bright lights of streetlamps behind her. Excitedly, she looked behind her. Scanning the street, she saw Lilith. Of course she was there. She loved Frankie. Turning to look ahead, she saw her destination. Home.
