Holy Regent Théodore de Tabaritsque is of completely unknown origins. He first appearance was in a local news paper when he escaped from a mental hospital. When the Empire fragmented during the failed Night Council putsch he somehow made his way to Niretha Island, a sparely inhabited island of the coast of the mainland. After he arrived he proclaimed that the dead Emperor Jonathan Taylor II was in fact alive and he was ruling a regent in his absence.He would go on to recruit a decent enough following with the deeply superstitious and conservative population of the island to organize a putsch against the local war lord ruling Niretha. After storming securing control over the capitol of the island Trantus he proclaimed the Holy Regency of York set on restoring Emperor Jonathan Taylor to the throne. He has slowly been gathering his forces on Niretha preparing to retake the main land.
