Warrior Apprentices: Apprentices who are being raised on the path of a warrior will not receive a mentor. It is up to the group as a whole to teach an apprentice what they need to know. It should be noted that, under Soulfaith's leadership, it will be punishable to deny an apprentice training without an acceptable reason. When a warrior apprentice reaches 10 moons old, one of the Trailblazers of The Dustrunners will take the apprentice out to the Barren Sands, the harshest conditions available on the island. The two will spar as an assessment of the apprentice's skill. The apprentice does not need to win this spar. If the examiner deems that the apprentice has learned enough during their apprenticeship, they will be promoted to a full member of The Dustrunners. Elsewise, they will have their warriorhood postponed two moons. ~ Caretaker Apprentices: A caretaker apprentice will have a specified mentor who will teach them everything that they need to know about herbs, medicine and caring for the group. Caretaker apprentices, upon reaching ten moons, will be examined by both the leader and their mentor. Should both agree that the apprentice has learned enough befitting the position, then the apprentice will be promoted. Elsewise, their apprenticeship will be extended two moons.
