chapter 1-- first bloom uwu (third person perspective) A normal day. That's what it should have been. we were going to have a sleep over party at skeletos's house later, that should have been the only thing out of the ordinairy. until... ~~ 30 seconds until the bell rings. Everyone waits anxiously. 29, 28, we hope Bredburn forgets about homework. 27, 26, 25, Skeletos shifts in his seat. 24, 23, 22, Solurs eyes dart nervously around the room. 21, 20 , 19. Aqua watches the fish. 18, 17 , 16 . we"re so close... 15, 14 , 13... Every second that passes is one second closer to the end of school. 12 , 11 , 10... soon... 9, 8 , 7 , 6 , 5 , 4 , 3 , 2 , 1... 0! ((RIIING)) We all RUN towards our (lockers ig?) and pack our bags as fast as we can. The party starts at 5:25 so we have time, but we wanna get back as soon as possible. "Aqua!" shouts solur. "Are you walking today?" solur runs up to aqua, felling happier than normal, exited to hang out with his friends. "yeah, I'm walking, are you walking too?" Aqua was a bit exited, but mostly tired. "with the party happening today, I might as well just run home!" They walked out of the school doors, waving goodbye to everyone else. "so... what are you bringing?" solur tried to break the silence. "to the party, I mean." Aqua hesitated a moment before saying "I don't think I'm gonna go, actually." "What?! why not?" exclaimed solur, startled by aquas statement. Aqua looked at solur. "Well, if you're so startled by that, I cant even imagine how everyone else will react..." they walked in akward silence for a while. "But maybe I will go." Aqua said after a while. "Why would you maybe not go?" said solur, embarrassed after that outburst. "Maybe it would be too akward... I mean, we haven't hung out all five of us that often. " aqua said slowly. "well, this is a good opportunity to get to know us better." more walking in akward silence. why couldn't he talk to Aqua like normal? what was different? what had changed? "well, this is my stop, bye solur." aqua said a little too quickly. "bye." solur managed to mumble out. he was sti ll distracted by the thoughts swarming his head. Why was this moment any different from any other time? he reached his house before long, still thinking. no one else was home yet. he felt a tickle in the back of his throat. he coughed, and coughed over and over and over, he hunched over the sink, blood spattering out his mouth. HE WAS COUGHING UP BLOOD. he struggled to breathe, he was coughing so hard. And with one final cough, he spat something out. [[what...?]] a flower petal. A FLOWER PETAL. is that what made him choke? he looked closer. It still had his blood on it, so he couldnt exactly tell what color it was. [[Weird...]] [[I think I can still go to the party...]] Chapter 2 -- SLEEPOVER :DD (were gonna pretend he already ate dinner) The sleepover was at Skeletos's house, an easy 10 minute walk from Solur's house. he hadn't coughed up anymore blood, so he was pretty sure he had just choked on a flower petal, although he wasn't sure where it came from. He took that time wondering what had happened earlier. soon enough, he arrived at Skeletos's house. "Come in!" Said Skeletos, looking as exited as Solur felt. "Am I the first?" Solur said. "You're actually the fourth! Aqua isn't here yet." Solur tried to ignore the pit that opened in his stomach when he heard that [[why am I so sad that he's not here?]] he thought. [[maybe were just really close to him...]] went another part of his mind. Solur and Skeletos walked into the living room, where Angela and Aro were waiting. "Finally, you're here! " Exclaimed Angela. "You're late!" Angela said, annoyed. "Am I?" solur said. "Yes you ARE. Aqua's just REALLY late." Solur sat on the couch next to Aro. "Maybe I'm on time and you just came early." Solur said smugly. "Okay, okay, maybe lets not fight?" Skeletos intergected. "FINE. " said Angela harshly, and stuck her tongue out at Solur. Solur glared back. "so, uh what should we do while we wait for Aqua?" said Skeletos. "maybe we play... truth or dare?" Angela grinned smugly at Solur. "What are you looking at me for?!" yelled Solur angrily. "oh, you know... you and aqua?" said Angela smugly. "WHAT?!" screeched Solur. "guys could you maybe quiet down...?" said Skeletos meekly. “Aw, look your face is turning red!” Angela teased "NO IT IS NOT!" Said Solur, his face definetely turning red. [[It was too much, too much for him, but he HAD to stay composed, not show any weakness.]] "JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" he shouted a little too loud, and sprinted off. Something felt... /off/ . His throat burned, his vision blurred, and his chest hurt. The room was spinning. He put his hand on the wall to steady himself. His throat burned and hurt, /badly/ he started coughing, It hurt /so/ much. Solur stumbled to the bathroom, still coughing a ton. he hunched over the sink, and coughed up more blood. everything hurt. his eyes stung. he coughed up more petals. [[what was happening?]]
