with me a poem by Star (ME WHOAHAHHHAEHOWHHH) (written in free verse cuz I suck at rhymes) My plan is- haha, that too! Words coat my brain like overthinking, but donut glaze sweet, wanted - it's a surprise romance arc, every January, tip your waitresses let the film roll - hope it doesn't burn! last time, suffering - joy, then beauty because there is beauty in suffering (or so i'm told) beauty washes away like the lost crab on the beach lost, like me when the camera cuts and I'm left with my mind and us and we. present - park benches, pavilions, lunchtimes, gloves like, a shared file like, a mental music collab click, click, my head clicks no, my heart clicks backspace button is missing in my head: a place, anywhere some colors (no earth tones) some stars some music a perfect dark blue sky a shared view far away from chains season 2- too scared to say no two people torrent of emotions two reasons- to keep the other half to not say yes to something a "yes" isn't for two: the other half isn't the only one too scared of something to be hurt, I am scared scared though what's to be scared of? scared - what a word! the projected image blossoms burnt film audio warbles- sorry, folks. grab your hat and coat show's over come back tomorrow. wait, it's okay it can be fixed grab another roll, my friend be an optimist rescue ending not an ending- go back rewind wait for the fear to drain as the image drained from the screen fear, but not a coward but afraid to say anything- no when its a no, yes when its a yes so i'll sit patiently because the other half needs happiness and i know it won't speak up to let itself be happy so as long as its happy i am, though unrequited, happy too. words pour onto paper- metaphors or nonsense? not even i can tell let's hope for the best on both accounts! what i'm trying to say, i mean, what i want to convey, is that i may want something but if it's not wanted for the one i want, so long as the one i want gets what it wants at least once i get what i want.
