Thea. The woman known for living in the present and accepting life for what it is. But is it really? The sick, twisting feeling in her stomach when she thinks about the future, still clinging to the past like her life depends on it? Song #1. Yeah! This has to be the first song, where Thea shows little to no development from previous songs. Thea's clinging to the past like her life depends on it. She's heading into the radiant night, but every night must have a dawn. She's in the dawn. She wants to cling to that time desperately but simply can't. She constantly thinks she's 5 minutes away from experiencing that again, but can't. Hence why it's first. 4 AM. #2: Meta she realizes that the door behind her has shut. Like hallways, like rooms. Like Pomni /silly. She realizes she can't spend all this time in the night. She has to chase the dawn and the next night over. She's looking forward to the future and wants to keep it that way, since she was so fixated on the past previously, letting everything go over her head because she was so fixated. 5 AM. 3: Finder The 3rd song. While still clinging onto that motif we see in Meta and Yeah! We also find her (haha pun) introducing herself in a new way, chasing and finding new experiences instead of clinging to the past like she did Yeah!. She accepts the fact that this is in fact a new chapter and will go on to find the light of her life. 6 AM. 4: Rainbow She's dropped her grip on the past, as she dropped the Yeah! Motif, she knows what she is looking for, and isn't willing to cling to the past to let herself be herself. She's now thinking about the future, thinking it will be better than that past night. Heading into the new light. (hint hint, rainbows can only be seen in the day as bright as Thea describes) The entire point of rainbows being in the dark is an oxymoron. Stating that Thea has been contradicting herself and will continue to as she realizes the new light. So yes, this is the dawn. 7 AM. 5: RUN Now, I'm not 100% sure of the placement of this one, but I do believe it would be here. Thea is living through the day, looking for the future. She's constantly striving for gold, not accepting silver pushing herself beyond the limits of her strength for nothing. She's running away from the past, running as far as she can, not willing to look back on her "failures". 12 PM. 6: Present Tense Thea is living in the present now, and if you aren't willing to catch up, you're getting left behind. As simple as that. You want to wait, you want to calm her down, but she's not stopping ever. 7: Image Now, looking back on the glory days, she's starting to regret her decision, as one does, but still presses on as she is so close. She found the pot of gold, she found the gold. She raced past silver, but at what cost? She realizes she has run so far that people are lagging behind her, slowing her down. She thinks they are slowing her down, eventually just calling them haters. The day is winding down, she's going back into the night. She doesn't want to go back to her old ways, but she knows she will. Then she does. She goes back to her old ways. She goes back into the night, back into the time where she loved life and constantly striving for that perfection is toxic. She understands, but maybe if she comes back again... it'll all be okay. Thea can't live in the present. Not fully.
