Hi everyone. This is probably the most difficult post I've ever made, but I've come to the decision it's about time for me to retire from Scratch. This isn't something I just thought of out of the blue one day and decided to run with. It's been on my mind for a while. I've been working on Fortnite Scratch Edition since February 2018 with it releasing in May 2018. That's almost seven years ago! Going even further back, I released other smaller games, two Paper Mario games (they're no longer on the site and I can't find the original files anymore), a Smash Bros. game in 2019, created three versions of a game engine, and more. In total, (as of the time of this post) I've been on scratch over eight years. I've had an absolute blast, but a lot changes in that time. I've always wanted to provide as high-quality experiences as I could for you all. Now sometimes, because this is still only Scratch, I couldn't get everything to level I wanted, but I'm still incredibly proud of what I've been able to accomplish. But, I never would have been able to get to this level without your support. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you! Your encouragement and support has made all of this possible. Now, with the mushy stuff out of the way, what should you expect over the next few months? I am committed to finishing out Fortnite Scratch Edition Chapter 6, and launching Chapter 7. After that, I'll do maybe a bug fix update or two, before signing off. Afterwards, none of my games or engines will receive any more updates. They will remain online though, so you can still play/use/remix them. If you wish, you can (and I encourage you) to modify them however you want. If you want to add more characters to Smash Bros., go ahead! Create your favorite, or a new season or live event in Fortnite Scratch Edition? Go for it! I leave these projects in your hands! A more detailed roadmap for the final months of FSE is in this project, so be sure to take a look so you don't miss anything. Again, thank you all so much for the years of support! I can't wait to celebrate these last few months with you all! Best, SpazAttack2017
