Hi! So, i changed the sprites of Sonic, and added a stomp animation! (The reason why there isn't a Walk animation is because the Sprite Sheet didn't have one) Original: HELLO FRIENDS HERE IS ANOTHER FIXEE Someone else tried to port this, here's my complete version of that. Hello, world! This is my very own Modern Sonic Engine! I have nothing against @piggeh 's engine, I simply decided Genesis Sonic Engine needed a similar set of Modern Sonic physics! So, with my knowledge of how the Boost formula works, I set out to create something that played like a 2-Dimensional Generations game! I looked quite a bit at how @piggeh 's engine worked, and also at how Sonic Generations worked, and I think I've replicated it pretty well! there's still a few kinks to work out of the system, but all the moves from Generations should be here! Even the hops, which let you keep your momentum and jump by quickly pressing Z! Instructions are in game. Following is an update log: New Music Update (10/13/2017) I added Rooftop Run! Sorry if it doesn't have very good quality, I had to record it by routing a wire from the headphone jack to the microphone jack! I did my best to implement it properly, please report any bugs you find! De-lag update (9/18/2017) Press A as the icon fades out to enter Advance Mode for effects. This mode intends to decrease lag on lower-end PCs by taking a hint from a game on certain lower-end hardware. Similarly, D will turn off all blur effects. Modern Edition (8/19/2017) -Sonic has now jumped ahead about 20 years. -Running REEEEALLY fast will cancel any "wait" blocks for the animation sprite, causing Sonic to do his run animation even faster! Version 1.3 (10th September, 2015) - Sonic can enter rolling a tad earlier and ends rolling a tad later Version 1.2 (6th September, 2015) - Spindash added - Improved ground collision to detect very thin platforms - Improved launching jump collision - Fixed low speed horizontal rotation animation bug - Fixed static animation bug Version 1.1 (5th September, 2015) - Slightly extended level map to test more extreme inclines - Fixed jumping animation bug - Faded, resetting start screen Version 1.0 (31st August, 2015) - Project released
