After a while of trying on dresses, tightening corsets, and never-ending chatter, Madeliv finally settled on a dress. "This one is perfect!" She declared, exiting the dressing room, "That looks gorgeous on you, hon'!" Anias complimented her, her shark fin twitching. Cookie hadn't really realized how much Madeliv's wings have grown in a while, the once small bumps of barely visible feathers were now fluffy curled clusters of dark grey, looked soft to the touch, and occasionally twitched as if the nerves had finally developed within them. " Oh my god, you look so cvnty hunty," Cookie admired. The dress was white, and it fell down just below her ankles, tracing the concrete floor. It was slim bodied and silky, and at the top there was a V-neck corset that laced with gaps at the back for her growing wings to flutter through. The corset had a lace pattern of several hearts and flowers in the front, and had a ribbon bow at the top of the V-neck. "The only thing you need is a veil," Anias confirmed, standing up from a magenta heart shaped couch she was planted on. She glided over to a small room with no door, only a cotton-candy blue curtain separating it from the other part of the building. When she came back from the room, she was hoisting a large blue tote box, with pink lettering that labeled, "Head Dresses." "There's a couple in here that would match you really well, and I was thinking about adorning your antlers in some form of way," Anias hummed, popping the lid off of the box. " I was going to weave diamonds in my antlers," Madeliv began, " So you don't have to worry about that," She chuckled, fanning her hands awkwardly. Anias looked at Madeliv's antlers, making a face before humming and rummaging through through the box. Something about that bothered Cookie. /What was that look?/ She thought, scanning Anias with a skeptical squint. Was it judgement? Why would a lousy store clerk have any reason to judge Madeliv like that. She brushed it off. After all, She'd probably never have to interact with her again, so what did it matter? "I love it!" Madeliv declared looking in the mirror at her veil and dress. "Perfect!" Anias said in a bubbly tone, twisting the ruler that was hung around her neck. Cookie had to admit, Madeliv did look gorgeous, but that may also be a bias as her best friend.
