If you are hoping to make a Ferret Iris OC, here are a few tips and some lore! First, you can choose a colour. Colours determine magic! Not all spells or abilities are based purely on colours or elements or whatever, but some colours are better at them than others! The open, common colours are red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, indigo, violet, pink and brown. On one of the pictures in this project you can see the pupil shape for each colour :3 Rare colours are black and white, as well as sterling, brass and rose gold (Although these are less likely to be canon) OCs cannot be silver or gold as only one ferret of each of these colours has existed, and their descendants are all sterling, brass and rose gold ^^ You can also choose to have a magicless ferret, best colours for them are the colours real ferrets would have (Browns, whites, blacks, possibly orange or pastels. Main feature that shows they have no magic is not having a coloured pupil; instead their eyes are pitch black) Once you’ve chosen that, you can use the base (other picture) to make an OC, or just freestyle draw! Make sure they still look like a ferret, different shapes of tail are encouraged as well as adding tufts of floof, but don’t go too crazy XD Here is the lore-y section! ~510 years ago (Universal Canon) The world is in a dull chaos, ferrets hide as often as they can from dark forces that consume light. But one day, 12 Prisms fell from space, and upon their arrival 10 sun or moon-like satellites began to rise and set in the sky, and with them colours appeared. Many ferrets gained magic then, and they fought off the darkness. Some ferrets had no magic, and a few of them were corrupted by the Dark One, fighting a war against the coloured ferrets, which Light inevitably won. The rebels have not been seen for eons since then. Some ferrets still don’t have magic, but they are pure of heart and those who are blessed protect them. -260 years ago (Storyline canon) The Dark One created a Gold-Iris ferret named Aurum, who had white magic (which is rare) and gave him orders to destroy the 10 Prisms (She doesn’t tell him about her own Prism, and the white Prism is indestructible). He damages the Brown Prism, hindering Brown-Iris ferrets’ magic, but 20 years of living in Vibria with the other ferrets makes him turn away from his mission, he becomes a guardian of the ferrets and he is still alive to this day (As ferrets with white magic live far longer than others) -10 years ago (Book Canon) The Dark One created a second ferret for the task of destroying the Prisms, as well as defeating Aurum; this ferret’s name was Argen and she was a Silver-Iris. -Present day (Roleplay Canon) The Hub’s RP and canon are set 10 years after the book I’m writing, which is the events of Argen and Aurum’s feud. In this timeline, everything turns out all right and Argen, Aurum and everyone else live happily ever after :D All magic is intact, apart from Brown which can be unpredictable due to Aurum’s actions in the distant past. Soon, there may also be a Negative timeline in which some of the Prisms are damaged or shattered, if that sounds interesting lmk!

The picture with a blank ferret is a free base to help you make an OC if you’re interested Other important stuff: •There are 10 days in the week, one of each common colour. The days are determined by which satellite is visible. •Rarely, the White or Black satellites can be seen. •Not all Black-Iris ferrets are evil, though many are driven that way. •Mythical creatures such as phoenixes and dragons exist in Vibria as well!
