CHAPTER 10: "Rest" Tails, Snow and Amy had a nice picnic. Arctic Fox helped friends to pack the things, along with his own. “I guess it's time to go home! We've spent half of the day together.” “True! The time passes by very quickly. Have a nice rest of the day!” – Fox wished and hugged his relative. Straightaway, Amy joined in. “Hehe! Hugs is the one of main symbols of friendship.” – Snow quoted to one of mom’s words. “Indeed!” – duo agreed. – [That’s absolutely right!] Soon, the villager started journey back to home. Miranda is probably cooking a dinner. “Hey, Tails! Would you like to visit my house?” – Amy offered to her friend. Since she already visited his house, he should see hers! “Oh, yes! It's been a while since I was there.” Both friends head to the girl’s home. A nice house with pink roof; white stairs and red fence. Rose garden, signature of elegance. A wooden sign with stylized "Amy’s house" written on it was placed at side. Amy opened the door. – “Welcome!” Fox gladly entered it and was amazed. Almost all the walls were covered with pictures, drawings and collections related to Sonic. Some were laying in the boxes, probably because there was rearrangement. It’s probably the biggest exhibition of character-related things the Fox ever seen. – “Woah…” Girl closed the door and tried to figure why her friend was astonished. – “Hm? Oh! My collection...” – she quickly threw dozen of things in a box. – “I need to clean it a little.” – [How could I forgot that I haven’t finished the clean up? What if this collection form a wrong opinion on me and end our friendship?] – “I'm sorry if I seem selfish...” - she placed the box on floor. Tails hugged her immediately to cheer. – “I don’t think you are selfish. Nothing will affect on our friendship.” Amy returned the hug, happy for the Fox’s understanding. It proves both are true friends. – “Tomorrow we’ll ask Big for a camera, so we can make new pictures and memories!” “Absolutely! Would you like me to help you with clean up?” – Fox proposed. More hands means faster work. “Can’t reject!” – Amy was about to start the clean up, but remembered something. – “Oh, I’ve made something for you!” – she gave him a schedule. “Ooh, a schedule! That's something I always needed!” – he accepted it happily. – “Thanks!” “Welcome!” Eventually, after another shared embrace, both started cleaning. --- “How was your walk?” – Sonic asked Silver and Blaze who already returned. “Oh, it's been great! Did we miss anything?” – Silver asked curiously. “Well, Rouge gave us a Chaos Emerald and then Shadow invited her on picnic.” “W-what?! How is that possible?” – [Since when he likes picnics?] “I had the same question.” – Hedgehog shrugged. Blaze joined in, unsurprised by mentioned event. - “That's thoughtful for both of them.” – [Wish we also did a similar thing.] Sonic looked at the sky: the Sun already gone down. – “Oh, it seems like it's getting late! You need somewhere to stay for the night.” “A simple hammock will be enough. Fortunately, I have two.”- Silver has problem with retrenchment, which usually causes problems. Blaze coughed in sign of disapproval. – [How many times should I tell you there is no need to limit your comfort?] “Maybe we can go to my house?” Silver was about to reject, but Blaze’s expression made him think again. Hedgehog gulped but made a playful tone for response. – “As you wish!” Blaze smiled. – [Another thing.] Everyone went to their beds and now can recharge for the next, even better, day.
