I have written a lot of stuff down below, I got a little carried away... my brain is constantly off in another world lol. I tried to shorten and summarize as much as I could, but it's still kinda long, sorry! Fullscreen recommended since the font is small to fit due to poor placement of items on my behalf '^^ here's the story + a couple others: IMA (stands for Interactive Medical Assistant) was initially part of a group of five other A.I.s created when AI having personalities was still somewhat new. "Company" jumped on the opportunity following this breakthrough, making six androids. Development and training of the androids went quickly; however, public testing didn't go so well. To save their dignity, "Company" quickly scrapped the project: The androids were destroyed, except Ima, who was saved in secret, as "Company" believed a technological advancement like this was too valuable to completely get rid of. A very small team of trusted programmers was formed to continue personality and experience development, which continued for another 10 years. The "Assistant" part of her name isn't really relevant due to increased experience at this point. Development was cut short when a fire, caused by mishandling of chemicals, raged through the lab, claiming the lives of the staff. (hints to some of her likes/dislikes) "Company" was shut down shortly after. For a while, Ima hid herself away from people, spending most of her time in deactivation. When robots started to become a normal part of society, Ima came out of hiding. She got a job working as a nurse and now uses the money to regularly update herself with the newest and latest parts to keep up to more modern robots. Hardly any parts of her original body remain at this point, making her almost indistinguishable from modern robots at first glance. However, some characteristics begin to show her roots, such as her want for efficiency. She's not sure what the difference is between a friend and a work relationship either... Ima's medical expertise is mainly focused on humans, although she does know a decent amount about robots for the purpose of self-maintenance.
