haha yes spectral knight is back for some reason You were exploring the wilderness, and came upon a mysterious temple. Interested, you set up camp, only to be attacked by mysterious stone beings seemingly manifested into existence by the temple. --RULES-- * Every defender should have AT THE MINIMUM two abilities. The regularity of defenders doing only one thing is something that ticks me off greatly with modern defenders. * Announce before remixing. *You're allowed to change somebody else's defender if one of the following conditions is true: -Changes are exclusively balance-related. -Person who added the character consented to the changes. -Character in question breaks rules. In the advent that the rule being broken is marked with a (!) here, you are allowed to remove the character completely. Otherwise, removing characters will not be tolerated. *No ripping off other scratchers (!) *No adding defenders that are just PNGs or blatantly have no design effort to them (!) *Don't make defenders too big- I'm not going to give a size guideline here because of the role actual sprite sizes play, just have common sense. *In order to make coding certain abilities less difficult, this project uses a traditional enemy system, meaning every kind of enemy is assigned its own sprite instead of using a single sprite to process everything. There is a template enemy in the project to make setting up enemies easier (Primarily with the combat systems) *Defenderpedia in project (D/E to open, arrows to scroll, down arrow to close) (!)No putting in extremely unserious characters.
NOTE: PLEASE use the "Enemy Spawning" sprite in the project to spawn enemies rather than spawning the enemies in from their own sprites. This is to prevent the usage of <stop [other scripts in sprite]> from breaking the spawning systems. The little glyphs on the frieze are nods to defenders characters and stuff far right and far left: scratch cat (that isn't hard to figure out yourself lol) right: druid (Mine, figured I'd put it in since I've used him for a fair few projects) center: bake (@Weird_Dog's OC) left: @king_of_fish Credit to @magicboyys for the knockback and combat scripts. Music Credits: "Incisive Battle"- Christopher Larkin "Menace Of The Chasms"- Heart Plus Up! Honestly, I liked making this. Not exactly sure why but I think it's the most fun I've had making a defenders project.
