Though an enormously larger force, GASI has made a critical error in their tactics. They are treating trained insurgents as an organized military force. These men are mostly veterans of the Aculon-Jaguar Empire civil war and the Aculon-Jaguarian war, both of which saw intensive use and training in guerrilla warfare. The only navy they had was a few fighters until the Ciderist Empire lent them some ships. The GASI forces have essentially unknowingly forced themselves into a position similar to the United States in Vietnam, as the rebel forces are well hidden in the dense urban terrain. The GASI hunting for AA emplacements is null and void, as Jaguarian rebels have VERY illegally obtained ZEUS launchers, handheld multi-use missile platforms that use old, but highly effective technology, capable of destroying fighters flying at maximum speed, and of penning most tanks and mobile artillery pieces, as well as being able to hide the user from pretty much anything until a round is fired, due to it being hand-held. The only armor these rebels use are a few EMP hover artillery pieces and Type 1 heavy tanks, however rare, can halt a decently large GASI advance. The rebels also mount HMG's on civilian vehicles as anti-infantry.
