Spitter Spider Spines, and when it comes to the unforgiving land of caustic vats and hidden hunters, one has to take these teachings seriously. However, as hard as Leap may try, his best efforts only seem to make him look sillier in front of his classmates. But Leap's entire world is shaken when he suddenly comes face to face with the most feared being in the Local Group. She is sure to set him on a completely different path, and who knows whether for the better or worse. But anything is better than being the underlizard... right? Character List (In order of appearance): Yeek's Leap-Orange and grey scavenger, male Kind of accident-prone, but intelligent Cadawing-Cyan Lizard, male Silly and friendly, loyal but not the smartest Mushroom Light-Multicoloured pastel scavenger, female Sassy, though the root of her hostility is a buried loss... V. Spitter Spider Spines (aka Vulture Spines)-Red elite scavenger with a yellow mask, male A harsh, grumpy mentor, but protective when necessary Artificer-Red slugcat, female Chieftain of scavengers and queen of fear, rage is a fire, and grief is the fuel. Don't worry about him in this chapter he's not that important -w- Erratic Jetfish-Yellow scavenger, male As the name suggests, VERY energetic. Also doesn't do a lot
All the scavs in this comic are my OCs, please ask permission if you want to use any but I will likely say yes :3 If you want any of your scavenger OCs to be featured in future chapters, let me know and I will see what I can do! I am SO SORRY this took so long! I procrastinate x-x But hopefully it was worth the wait :) For older audiences, some choices of words are for the purpose of keeping my writing accessible for everyone. So I often use words like "oofed" (instead of ded) to keep to the kids friendly theme. Others are for immersion in the world in which the story is set (like underlizard rather than underdog). "Vulture" is a title for elite scavengers, so if characters call other characters that it's not a name change it's just scavenger etiquette ^^ If anything doesn't make sense to you, comment!
