The looming threat of war and not seeing her beloved as much she should were rather powerful mood dampeners, but that would change once she got something for Obsidianstorm! As much as she'd like to pretend otherwise, she'd be a fool if she sincerely thought that he wouldn't miss his birthclan, which could lead to him leaving her if she let that longing fester. And so, she decided that the best course of action was... fishing. Flurryclan had rivers which probably contained fish that weren't /too/ hard to get out with a quick swipe or swift bite, even for someone like her who couldn't swim. Then she could give it to her treasure and make him realize just how silly it was to miss Urchinclan when she could provide him with all he could ever need and more. But then she lost her footing on slippery rocks and fell into the particularly agitated river, water rushing down her throat as she reflexively tried to breath. Stars above, it burned so bad. It felt like her chest was on fire even. But she couldn't give up, not when that would mean leaving Obsidianstorm all alone. And so, she fought against the unusually strong current, trying her best to keep her head above the water and make her way towards the ground. But it was hard, so very hard, to keep her eyes open with how tiring this was. So... very... tiring. And then she woke up, surrounded by shimmering stars and curious warriors who'd been gone for moons. It was beautiful. Perfection at its core, even. And yet, it felt hallow. Empty and imperfect for a reason so evident to her that it didn't even cross her mind. Obsidianstorm wasn't with her. He was still alive in Flurryclan, surrounded by nobodies and kits she didn't care about. Something that she just could not stand. Why was it that she had to separated from her beloved so soon? And why did it have to be so moronically ironic? Did her ancestors find it funny that her reason to live was also the reason she died? If so, that was fine.
