➽ Chapter 6 Raven POV We had been walking for quite a while, for the the moon and stars were high in the sky. My paw pads were sore and aching, and my legs felt like they were about to give out. I glanced over at Stream, and she was still trotting along, head high and not showing any signs of pain. I growled a little at her, which she dismissed with a cold, arrogant swish of her tail. "Fine, be like that," I sniffed. She, this time, responded, looking extremely exasperated and tired. "You were the one who growled at me for no reason! It's quite uncivil, you know." "You've hardly talked to us-" I began, but Moon interrupted, this time sternly and not gentle. "You two. Stop arguing. I've given you both warnings, this is your final. I understand that you are both tired, however. Why not we set up camp?" I grumbled a little, but she was right - I WAS tired. Not caring at all where we slept, I plopped down in a soft patch of grass with a huff. A river flowed right next to me, but my bones ached too much to move away from it. I saw Moon and Stream both curl up as well, Stream looking extremely ashamed of herself, and Moon resting her snout on her paws, gazing into the distance. She didn't look tired in the slightest, but I definitely was, so I closed my eyes, letting sleep take me.
