OVERVIEW Spider-lilyflare will be a very attentive mentor due to her own abandonment when it came to training. She will try her best to be very active in her apprentices' lives, no matter what else is happening in her life, and will try to teach them everything she can. EXPECTATIONS Spider-lilyflare's expectations for her apprentices will be very similar to her expectations for her [future] kits. - Stand up for yourself, even to your elders. If someone is disrespectful, it doesn't matter their age, defend your honor. - Respect everyone who respects you, whether younger or older. Everyone who respects you deserves to be given that back. - Have a strength. It doesn't matter what that strength is, as long as you have something to be proficient in. If you don't have one, learn one. Practice until you are better. - Showing up to training when it is prescheduled is not an option, it is a necessity. Every day of training is important. MOON 1 The first moon of training will be very laidback. It will mostly include an in-depth tour of the territory, Spider-lilyflare's favorite spots, and their uses. The first moon will not be heavy on training. However, this will be the moon when flying skills will be worked on the most. MOON 2 The second moon will include perfecting flying if it's necessary or hasn't been fully completed during the first moon. The second moon will also be light on physical training, but it will include introductions to hunting and fighting, as well as a strong focus on patrolling the territory, which should be well memorized from the previous moon's training. If an apprentice's mentality or morale need fixing, this will be the moon where Spider-lilyflare will teach them to be the best they can mentally. MOON 3 This moon will be the start of more intense physical training. It will mostly contain skills in different types of hunting and tracking. Spider-lilyflare will bring her apprentice around the territory and teach them how to hunt and track different types of prey under different circumstances. This moon will also include some studies in edible plants, in case one is ever hungry and unable to hunt for whatever reason. MOON 4 The fourth moon will have a heavy focus on fighting, and will be the most brutal moon of them all. It will be physically taxing for the apprentice because of the importance that Spider-lilyflare places on fighting. The apprentice will learn a great deal during this moon and review it all in the coming moons. MOON 5 The fifth moon will be a review moon of the past two moons especially, but will touch up on every skill learned thus far. This moon will also include learning the warrior code and its intricacies, and learning how to question rules one deems unfair with proper evidence, if the apprentice is interested in learning such. That is one skill where Spider-lilyflare will let her personal bias come out, as she has always doubted parts of the warrior code, and doesn't want her apprentices to be blind followers. She is accepting and understanding of differences in opinion as long as her apprentices know what they're talking about. MOON 6 This moon will lighten up on physical training, and will focus on miscellaneous life skills. Spider-lilyflare will teach her apprentices light medical skills to use in emergencies, and focus on how to handle drama and disputes within the clan. This moon will mostly be focused on building leadership and necessary life skills, with some physical training thrown in, as well, of course. MOON 7 The final moon will be full of review. There will be nothing new to learn this moon, except preparations for the apprentice's warrior assesment. At this point, the apprentice will know everything they should, and will be well-off for their assesment. This moon will also be spent working on and perfecting whatever skills that Spider-lilyflare still deems the apprentice to not be wholly proficient in.
