(Note: if my research is missing something/is incorrectly portraying something please let me know!) OCD or obsessive compulsive disorder is a disorder where the person who has it has extreme compulsive and/or obsessive thoughts. Paprika will have both obsessive thoughts and compulsive thoughts. Obsessive thoughts are thoughts that are unwanted and hard to ignore. her obsessive thoughts include: walking off of cliffs or other high up places without wanting to, contracting diseases, dying from falling branches/hanging things, and accidentally killing/injuring a younger kit. Compulsive thoughts are a reaction to obsessive thoughts. Paprika might try to stay lower to the ground OR far away from dangerous cliffs, washing her paws and visiting the medic often, standing in clear, open areas, and repeatedly yelling at herself that she would never hurt a kit. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/obsessive-compulsive-disorder/symptoms-causes/syc-20354432 (warning, there is some non-scratch friendly things on here. I’m including it here however as proof of research) I’ve had like 7 previous cats ok
