The mouse did run there. Surely there would be more food there.// Dahlia looked back at the river. //I'll come find you guys soon!// Determinedly, she stepped under the tree canopy and angled her ears towards the trees, listening for a movement. [THUMP] Dahlia snapped her head towards the sound. //What's that?// Slowly, she made her way over to the round figure. The round orangish pink thing laid on the ground, not moving, two little green leaves seemed to be stuck onto it's head. Cautiously, Dahlia reached out a paw, quickly tapping the thing before pulling her paw away. //It didn't move... Is it dead?// Dipping her head, she sniffed it. //It smells so... Sweet!// Still cautious, Dahlia moved her head closer to lick it. //EW! It's fluffy!// Pulling back her head, she observed the round figure. //It wasn't warm... Hopefully I can eat it.// Dahlia drew closer again, this time taking a small nip. //It's so SWEET!// Looking up, she made sure there was no danger before taking a second bite, lapping the sweet juice that dripped from the bite. //I need to find more of this prey!// After finishing the round thing, she pawed at the small hard rock-like thing left. //Must be it's claws or something.// Dahlia looked around for any more of this prey that might be around. //Oh! There's another one!// Half prancing, half walking, Dahlia made her way over. //This one is a bit... green.// Still, she took a big bite anyways. "EWWW!" Spitting out the chunk she took, Dahlia pawed at her tongue, trying to get the taste off. //IT'S SO SOUR! Maybe only the pink ones are sweet...// She looked around once more, only to find another green round prey. //Hmm, where'd that one come from?// Looking up, Dahlia spotted a couple more. //There they are! They are hiding in the tree! You can't hide from me!// After climbing an pawing at the round prey, Dahlia managed to end up with 2 more.
