Things warmed up for a bit around Winterwood, so I took advantage of the melting snow and set up a cute winter cross country course on the grounds! Today, I decided Monty needed some training the most. Unfortunately, I've kind of neglected exercising him lately - whoops! I did dress him up in a new saddle pad, quarter sheet, and fly bonnet though so maybe that made up for it. He was pretty hesitant going over the red barn jump. I think something about jumping into the cold water made him say "yeah, no, maybe let's stay dry?" But he eventually did it anyway because he's a good boy. Other than that, he did really well, and I think he was really starting to enjoy himself. As a reward, I gave him a good long groom and a couple treats to boot <33
