No, Dandy’s Neighborhood isn’t cancelled. I’ve just been focusing on the 20 other projects I’m also working on, on top of balancing my online life with my real life. Now, since you’re here, let me explain why I made this project. It’s for lore related purposes. Specifically relating to a small rewrite and basic explanation. Gardentown, the “neighborhood” mentioned in the title, was made by Arthur and Delilah (more on them in a bit) as a way for the toons to move on after Gardenview shut down. It provides a (mostly) safe environment for the toons and gives them a chance to live a normal and comfortable life, similar to that of a human. The ichor operation has been shut down, and the toons only ever have to go back to the lower floors of Gardenview in case one of them gets severely injured or dies. So while twisteds still exist in the neighborhood AU, they aren’t an important part of the story and probably won’t be touched upon. Here’s something I wanted to clarify from the beginning: the holiday toons are no longer in isolation during most of the year. It took a bit of begging from the toons (Toodles, Cosmo, Sprout, and Flutter especially). Arthur liked the idea of keeping the holiday toons active year-round, so he and Delilah released them. While the groups do still celebrate their holidays when the time comes, they don’t have to shun themselves anymore during the rest of the year. The main toons of Dandy’s World no longer have to hold that title and be seen as superior. While some of them would like to keep it (Vee especially) others enjoy the relief and prefer integrating with the common toons. Arthur and Delilah have devoted their lives to keeping Gardentown in check, sort of like mayors. Dyle also helps them out with stuff like appointments and questions. As for Dandy? He decided to integrate with the normal toons! He is seen as a bit of a celebrity to the others though. If you have any more questions, feel free to leave them in the official QnA project! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1256342048/
