Rush E Noteblocks I coded a python script to convert midi to a list, then imported that list into scratch, and created this! Use turbo mode on scratch, and run in turbowarp for the best experience: https://turbowarp.org/1258401257?fps=250&turbo&hqpen Originally shared on July 1st, 2022 Please love if you liked this!! :D (I'm trying to win a synthesis contest, and i have to get the highest love to view ratio !) Features: • Visualization • Computer discrimination (Can't well run on slow ones) • Sound • Rush e • 90535 notes • A 271605 element list (That's over the limit!!) ------------ Playing your own MIDI file: ------------ @GnawOmiz has written a nice JavaScript based converter (thank you!) you can use to create the list this project requires: https://zimo24.github.io/MIDI-to-NBP/ Simply upload your midi file, then select "Download as NBP", go into this project, right click on the list and select "import", then select the NBP file you downloaded and load it into the list. If it does not let you select the file, rename it to .txt first. This is not the original converter I made, it is much better since it is web based and the code is much cleaner. Btw, the only reason I did not add a feature to paste the encoded (decoded?) song in is because the list length is often over the limit (200,000) and the only way to make a list that long is to import a txt file. (There's a tiny little delay between loops, and getting around that is quite tricky. I've tried many times, but each time, my "perfectly accurate" code behaves weirdly, because of scratch's weird quirks) The format of the "song" list is very simple. Each note is structured as follows: <note number> <start time> <end time> These notes are just placed one after another in the list, an example song list looks like: <note number> <start time> <end time> <note number> <start time> <end time> <note number> <start time> <end time> ...
