Shiningheart had been hunting that day and was about to head back when she saw the very pregnant mound lying in the snow. She grabbed her squirrel and rushed over… But she was too late. All the was left were three little bundles in the snow, crying for their mother. Shy immediately scooped them up and cuddled them to her chest, enveloping them as tightly as she could to keep them warm. She shed tears over the d3ad queen, wishing she didn't have to leave her there. But…these kits needed her more. She gazed at their eyes, heart softening as she recalled her days of having newborns. She had been a great mom…and these kits needed her.
