In case you're wondering why people might not want starlings, House Sparrows, or cowbirds at their feeders: House Sparrows are very cute, but unfortunately are invasive, starlings are very pretty in the right light, but are also invasive, and cowbirds lay their eggs in other birds' nest. All of these birds are contributing to the decline of native and non-parasitic birds like bluebirds, chickadees, swallows, and Wood Thrushes.
