It's been a while huh.... I'll come back... I promise ++++++++++++++(Instructions)+++++++++++++++ You basically use the arrow keys to move around up and down. ----------------------(Info)--------------------- This project is an improved top down scrolling engine that allows the player sprite to move around and collide with walls while scrolling... \ = O !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (UPDATES) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ver 0.20 -changed thumbnails to look less cheap. -From now on, all sprites would now run from the "Tick-game" broadcast so that every sprite/clone is run accurately. -Added a Charmander character in the "player" sprite to show off how costumes work. (will add walking and idle animations in the future.) -The "ground" sprite allows you to make bigger levels. (this feature might have a drastic change in the future.) Ver 0.21 -Edited the "Player" sprite's costumes -Changed the "Player" sprite's hitbox slightly -Adjusted the "ground" sprite's costumes for the camera limit feature. -Camera limit feature added; this makes the camera stop following the player whenever the player reaches the edge of the level. Ver 0.22 -Removed the Generate level feature functionality which {clones the "ground" sprite to make levels bigger.} (although it can optionally be re-implemented if wanted.) -Changed "Map" costume in the "ground" sprite to apply the Camera limit feature. -changed a bit of the update log to make everything even more "straight forward." Ver 0.30 ??? soon or maybe not(not likely unless I got an idea...)
----------------[credit]-------------- The code used for the player scrolling movement and collisions was made/inspired by BurnyB's the legend of Zelda engine.
