For any of you wondering, 1471 is Checks project number, yes she was made in a lab. The reason behind the proportions is explainable. You see, Clay was working for a lab company that (ofc) makes synthetic organisms (not for the public eye unless the project is verified), Clay was a Project Watcher, he would watch other tend to projects and make sure they were not abused or used. Clay was promoted to a Project Holder. (Fun Fact, Calamity was also made in the same lab) Clay's A.I. assistant called his attention to Project 143, Calamity. Calamity's caretaker, Mark, was abusive, Clay dismissed Mark. Mark decided to ruin Clay's project by admininistering 5 gallons of Protein into Checks project tank. Luckly Clay made it back in time only for the pressure tank to explode. Calamity was able to release Checks in time, but not in time for at least some of the Protein to take action, thus, Checks proprtions. It's better in comic, trust me, i don't have it anymore because when i got caught with my phone my dad took my sketchbooks and got rid of them.
thanks to BriskSra00 for the original project
