PLAY IN FULL SCREEN EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED TO PLAY IN TURBOWARP SO YOU CAN TURN ON INF CLONES, OR ELSE IT WONT WORK PROPERLY Tried my best to recreate the RBMK reactor based on Higgsino Physics's model. It's a fairly simple reactor demonstration. I AM NOT A NUCLEAR SCIENTIST, so don't be surprised if this isn't the most realistic simulation. ⬇️CONTROLS: ⬇️ -Use the up and down arrow keys to raise and lower control rods. They decrease and increase reactivity in the reactor -Automatic control rods are pretty self-explanatory; it automatically sets the energy output to about 2000MW. -Coolant cools the reactor and lets water flow in, which decreases reactivity. -Pressure relief valves are for when pressure is too high. You probably shouldn't have to use both valves unless it's an emergency, because it prevents water from forming. -AZ-5 inserts all the control rods into the reactor as fast as possible, use this button only in an emergency. (Note that AZ-5 doesn't work when the pressure is too high, you will have to enable pressure relief valves first.) HOW TO (KIND OF) SIMULATE THE CHERNOBYL INCIDENT: 1: Set the coolant to 3 2: wait for reactor power to increase, then turn on automatic control rods (normal operation) 3: Lower the control rods 80% down (low power test) 4: Set the coolant level to 5 5: Wait until xenon starts to build up (xenon poisoning) 6: The power should start to decrease to less than 200MW 7. Raise all control rods. This should only raise reactivity a little because of the water and xenon 8. Set the Coolant flow to 1 9. Wait until core temperature is above 200, then set coolant to 5. This will actually increase pressure due to the water boiling to steam 10. Press AZ-5
Credits to Higgsino Physics for the original reactor design and idea.
