PART ONE Luna is known as the creator or the destroyer and is very mad and destructive. But she can be peaceful at times. But she’s unsure why today is special because she is peaceful and just enjoying the autumn vibes. So on this nice autumn evening where the leaves rustle and the trees wilt, she sits in her cabin sitting at her counter sipping coffee and writing in her journal about how she feels, something that her friend had previously advised her to do. The journal entry goes a little like this: “They can’t find out, they can’t know, they'll never know. I have to protect them from…me. Things have been terrible and tiring each passing day but I pull through doing anything to make me feel again, to stop my hunger. My little shack in the woods keeps everyone away, just as I want it. I can't be seen acting soft or it'll destroy my image so I keep cold and distant and every word I say counts but yet I still feel empty. Fern and Quinn are now siding with Jazz, angering me but I need to keep cool. I wouldn't want to destroy the world I swore to protect even though I torture it, butcher it, and twist it. Signed, Luna Ravenswood day 1 of this horror of expressing my feelings” after writing she felt that she needed something but didn't know what just yet. So with a swish and jerk she jumped on her motorcycle, grabbed her helmet and rode off in the sunset colored leaves without a care in the world. Arriving at her destination, an old discarded and abandoned hospital where she usually reads. She knows this was a terrible idea, yet she didn't care and still strolled on in. She noticed that there were footprints that weren't hers, alerted she casually strolled past the boarded up windows and cobwebs eventually reaching the very top. Knowing she was going to be pushed off by an unknown presence she embraced it. But that's not what happened, she grabbed the unknown figure by the neck, dangling them over the edge of the building and said “Don't sneak up on people, it's not nice” and put the figure down next to her feet and jumped off the building. She landed perfectly and swiftly on the ground and started heading to her motorcycle. When she got back to her motorcycle she decided to go to the city to have a look at what wonders and horrors she created. The drive there was pleasant and peaceful so she relaxed but never let her guard down. A few minutes went by and she was there right at the outskirts looking at the towering buildings before her and gazed at her creation. She was proud. She locked her bike to a nearby alley and strolled into the yellow, red, and blue lights and thought to herself. Where is Fern? Where is Quinn? Who is Jazz? Just then she had another thought completely off topic to her other thoughts: what would the view be at the top of these buildings?. And so she silently used her darkness and jumped up to a tall building, unnoticed. Looking over the humans, monsters, and deities she thought: I just want to fit in, why is that so darn hard??. But swatting that thought away she went on with her adventure. Swiftly making her way up to the tallest building in sight she once again looked down and admired the vast variety of creatures but still the emptiness grew in her heart because she knew she was different, she had always known. She was a monster. So knowing she could erase the entire planet if she got too mad she held her necklace and jumped down. Hair flowing in her face. The buzzing of the creatures below her. The lights, blinding. She closed her eyes and used her darkness to teleport her and her bike to her home and plopped on her bed. Laying there in her own darkness she breathed a sigh of relief. She was home, right? She never had a home or parents or any family for that madder, she just wanted family, a sister. All the sudden thoughts filled her head and she shot up in a moment. I can make myself a sister. But she knew suspicions would be raised if she just so suddenly had a twin sister that came from nowhere, so she had to be smart about this. But the process would be very tedious because she would have to go back in time and she did not have the time to do that. Ironic isn't it? Deep in thought Luna once again travelled back to the city and up she went on the buildings. Traveling up and up to the highest one, she spotted something interesting, she saw Quinn, her old best friend. Of course she didn’t show it but she missed her, her laugh, her humor, her soft spot, her hugs. So not wanting her to see she slipped past to a nearby building and watched her old friend. Quinn seemed to be painting the city before them, it was beautiful she had done so well. to be continued...
