GENDER: Male STATUS: Depends* ALIGNMENT: Good** THEME: "It's TV Time!" ABOUT: Tenna, the host with the most! Always groovy, NEVER glooby! He is the host who runs "Mr. (Ant) Tenna's TV Time!" in Deltarune Chapter 3, a gameshow. His gameshow has the Fun Gang playing through 8-bit Zelda-esque boards that end with physical challenges, around 2 with a planned third. ** READING FROM HERE WILL YIELD SPOILERS! BE WARY! ** It is all folly however. The purpose of the gameshow is to keep the heroes distracted so that the knight can come in and take Toriel while she is asleep and trapped in one of Tenna's gacha-balls. When this is discovered by the heroes, he takes them back to the game and pretends nothing happens. The heroes end up retaliating, resulting in Tenna trapping the heroes and breaking down as the game is played instead by him, and any semblance of fun is demolished. ** Tenna however ultimately isn't a bad guy at heart. He just wishes to be seen again by anybody. The Dreemurrs and Holidays used to all watch him and his shows until they stopped coming, leaving him alone and dusty. Until Kris turns him back on one day and makes the fountain in their house. It's from there Tenna is promised that if he can distract the heroes enough for Toriel to be taken, he will be watched by thousands once more. He also does seem to care for Kris' wellbeing, even if it does come from wanting that attention. He is left by his crew soon after the heroes escape, and he's eventually the only one left. After his confrontation, Susie ends up being the one to convince him that he can find new worth elsewhere, with different people, even if he can't find any more from the ones he used to be watched by. This ends up convincing Tenna to give them back Toriel and let them go home. ... before he is 'dispatched' by the Roaring Knight via the removal of his arms. * If you do not recruit everyone during the chapter, that's it. He's dead. You find his screen smashed in the Light World, rendering him unusable. If you do recruit everybody, he is able to be fixed, thus keeping him alive. If you look a little deeper, you also find the 8-bit games he has for his show are based on an original game, implied to be called MANTLE, that he does not want anybody finding, as he keeps it backstage. MANTLE is a whole separate can of worms that will not be described here.
