In Sonic the Hedgehog 1 for the Sega Genesis, there was a special copy of the game released in 2016, where you can play as one on the characters from Inside Out, and that was Fear! However, there was a bug that never got fixed, and people never knew who or what caused the bug, even to this day! No matter what the employees tried, they could not fix the bug, and sadly the copy was never shown to the public, but the employees still have it...locked away. The unfixable bug was the following: The game played exactly like how it should...until the Labyrinth Zone. The zone was going well until Fear accidently falls down into a watery abyss. Then after that, Fear gets his leg caught on a chain connected to a spike ball under the water. Fear tries to escape by pulling the chain off of his leg, screaming loudly for help, and even trying to swim up to the surface, but he failed, and drowned in the process. After that, the rest of the game should have been worked on, but the employees were too mortified to continue, and so this specific copy of Sonic the Hedgehog was abandoned and unfinished...forever. As for Fear, he never ever got out of the Labyrinth Zone, trapping him there forever and ever, to never be seen again.
