An optical illusion I stumbled upon when working on a project. All squares align perfectly to the same grid, but appear slightly misaligned (to me at least). ☛ Click the pattern to switch to the next version (there are 24 in total). ☛ Click the button in the lower right corner to switch between RGB and grayscale mode.
This is how it appears to me: ● RED squares appear LOWER than GREEN squares, and slightly HIGHER than BLUE squares. ● GREEN squares appear slightly LARGER than both RED and BLUE squares. ● The "brick" rows appear to TILT UPWARDS from the side with the RED/green bricks toward the side with the BLUE/green bricks. The bricks also appear slightly LARGER on the RED/green side. Switching between different versions enhances the illusion. The illusion does not appear to work in grayscale mode.
