updated for 2026 Click, space, or arrow keys Violet, kindergarten, she/her/hers, straight, 2019 I was extremely shy and quiet (hard to believe lol). I knew absolutely NOTHING about LGBTQIA+. I thought "love" just meant how my mom and dad loved me. I loved purple and had some really great friends. Life was pretty simple. Violet, 1st grade, she/her/hers, straight, 2020 COVID-19 hit. I started doing virtual school, like the rest of my city. I felt kinda isolated. Violet, 1st grade (still), she/her/hers, straight, 2020 A family moved into the house next to us, and I became friends with the kids. I was a lot happier. Violet, 2nd grade, she/her/hers, straight, 2021 I went back to school, now in second grade. I made lots of friends and was very happy. I developed a love of dragons and started reading Wings of Fire. Heard a few friends talking about LGBTQIA+ but still knew nothing about it. Violet, 3rd grade, she/her/hers, straight ally, 2022 I learned more about LGBTQIA+ and became an ally. Started reading Warriors and became obsessed with cats. Started 3rd grade and moved up a school. Violet, 4th grade, she/her/hers, questioning, 2023 I started getting crushes on boys AND girls, so I questioned my sexuality. Made more friends, wanted to "fit in" like all of the preppy kids. (Also got a cat!) Violet, 5th grade, she/her/hers, questioning, 2024 Had a terrible year. I had a horrible teacher, a bunch of friendship problems, and a crush on almost every kid in the class (lol). Couldn't wait for the year to be over so I could move on to another school. Violet, 6th grade, she(xe?), unlabeled/questioning, 2025 Very happy! Loved middle school, had a great friend group. Got a crush on one of my friends (she has a Scratch account; why don't you guess who it is?) and told her! (she likes me too btw) Scout (+ Loki and Nightmare), 7th grade, she/xe/they/rain/fern, unlabeled and genderfae, 2026 Discovered that I was part of a system, started using a bunch more pronouns, completely reworked my wardrobe. Cut and dyed my hair, became a lot less social. I used to /love/ the genderfae flag and checked it out again for nostalgia's sake, but then realized that it fit me pretty well! Started identifying as a lion therian. Changed my online name to Scout, starting to use that as a nickname irl THE END ...for now!
