CONTEST ENDED/CLOSED (if ur making ur own contest, and need help with ideas, u can get ideas from this project and instructions below, but pls ask me if u want to) -INFO- read everything cuz these are important tips and notes also extra info at the bottom of this instruction section press space key for next page if ur submitting u gotta get the link of the game ur submitting, and post it in this studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/50986615 good luck if ur doing the thing *also u cant have 2 roles at once so choose wisely* ------------------ EXTRA INFO: after the deadline, the contestants can win up to 45 points, 40 main points, and 5 extra points there are categories the judges will judge on, the 4 main categories are: art, gameplay, code, and fun; the extra category is thumbnail art, if the game has a thumbnail, thumbnails are optional and don't take away main points the judges will judge the categories from a scale of 1 to 10, for example if a contestant is rated, 10/10 art, 10/10 gameplay, 10/10 code (if the code is incorrect then they lose points), and 10/10 fun, the contestant gets 40 points if the contestant's game has all of those main points, plus a "perfect" thumbnail, they get 45/40 points and keep in mind that if the contestant gets extra points, the more extra points, the better chances to win the contest but if someone is tied with another contestant, lets say 45/40 and 45/40, i will make the tie-breaker by giving a random person an extra point (spinning a wheel, rolling a die, etc idk actually lol) also u have up to 2 submissions, 1 main game submission and 1 extra, u can use the main submission slot only or both, so if u finish creating ur main game, u can still create ur extra submission, though the extra slot submission doesnt affect the points, and the judges will only judge 1 of the game submissions u have, so if u have 2 submissions, tell us the one u want us to judge and also if ur done with the main game submission but not done with the extra game submission, as long as if ur finished with ur main game submission, you'll be fine, just use the main game submission if that happens btw if u make an exact copy of someone else's game, you'll be disqualified from the contest, unless u change atleast 75% of the game before the deadline (exact copies of other user's games break both the contest rules and scratch guidelines) ----------------- GOOD LUCK TO ALL CONTESTANTS AND DO YOUR BEST!
