A 2 player game Comment feedback and bugs A collaboration with @lol2death ------------------------------------ Controls below V ------------------------------------ Welcome to Scratched Out, where the characters you know and love are slightly... different... The killer's goal is to defeat the survivor before time runs out, while the survivor's goal is just to make it to the end. Development is halted for a bit, don't expect new characters soon ----------------------------- Controls: Killer controls: WASD: Movement Z: Sprint Mouse click: M1 (slash/slice) Q: Ability 1 (implant/conditional) E: Ability 2 (stop/slide) R: Ability 3 (sprite1 does not have a 3rd ability/debug) Survivor controls: Arrow keys: Movement B: Sprint N: Ability 1 (gun) M: Ability 2 (de-animate) ---------------------------- Testers (people who have early access to new features): @Lemontacos64 @lol2death @bradimate-studios (ask to become a tester)
Credits: @LemonTacos64 (me) (most code + very few small animations) @Lol2Death ((almost) ALL art/animations + some code) @EnergyBlast4529 (menu music and button click sounds) Inspired by Forsaken, Die of Death, Scratch Asset Library A lot of credits for sound in project --------------------------- Map and music are temporary (if anyone is willing to make music that would be appreciated) VERY UNFINISHED I need to add a lot of sfx but I'll do it later ----------------------------- Update Log: v2.1.6 (8/5/26) Small Intro Update: I'M BACK! Replaced BlockOut placeholder intro and increased the length of Sprite1 intro (maybe sound soon????) v2.1.5 (2/24/26) Small Map Update: Updated some maps and added a new one with a feature similar to teapot palace from DoD. v2.1.4.1 (1/15/26) The "just pretend this came out last update" Update: Added kill animation when killing with Stop ability v2.1.4 (1/12/26) Aftermath: oh god walls added looping... Buffed BlockOut to make them less loopable (able to go through walls with slide, 80 -> 90 stamina, less slowness after debug). Also removed placeholder :) in starting menu and added new art. () v2.1.3 (1/8/26) WALLS!!!: Added walls to each map and with them, wall collision. Wall collision is based on where the feet are and not where the entire body is, like Paper Mario. v2.0.3 (12/15/25) Life and Logic: Removed default map and replaced with two others (code area and sprite creator). Added shadows because characters were looking flat. Removed character on menu by creator's request and replaced with a placeholder v2.0.2 (12/9/25) NEW KILLER: Released BlockOut, a killer themed around code blocks. Also added music to the menu and click sounds to the buttons (thanks to for music and click sounds) v1.0.2 (10/29/25) Stamina update: Made stamina a bit better, also fixed how during survivor win screen, killer and survivor could still move around and kill could still happen v1.0.1 (10/15/25) Post-release Bugfixing: Organized a bit, fixed stamina not regenerating while survivor was in abilities, and changed hitboxes a bit v1.0.0 (10/7/25) RELEASE: Release with Rigg and Sprite1 as starting survivor and killer
