This microgame is Run, Alex, Run! from BarryWare ported to the AiWE engine. MICROGAME DESCRIPTION: Alex is in a cave, but a boulder is chasing him! Help him jump and slide through the obstacles to escape! MICROGAME CONTROLS: Up Arrow / W / Space - Jump Down Arrow / S - Slide This is it! The final microgame in BarryWare ported to the AiWE engine is finally finished, and not only that, all of the microgames ported to the AiWE engine are all finished! This sure has been an amazing 1-month journey, hasn't it? Not only that, this is my last summer break project for 2025 because I have to start my first day of 12th grade tomorrow. Here we go again... Not only that, but with a lot of hard work, dedication and motivation, the death glitch where Alex didn't get pushed back far enough from the wall is officially patched! Now you can get through all of the levels on higher speeds without any problem. If you're wondering on how I fixed this glitch, I used a dynamic camera system, rather than pushing Alex back. Here's how it works: It runs a tick, where the camera scrolls back to Alex and he takes a step forward while changing the camera's X by the forward amount, then if there is a wall and Alex tries to take a step forward into it, the camera scrolls backward, changing the camera's X by the same forward amount, but subtracted, and finally, the game scrolls back to its original X before the tick happened, and it gives the illusion of Alex getting pushed back by a wall. But don't think we're done there! Since @SFBarises announced that he does not want his microgames to be on BarryWare anymore, nor does he want me to port them, there will be 5 new microgames to fill in the blanks, which can be seen for more info here: ( https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1203534324/ ) But anyways, that's it. I have nothing else to say than enjoy this final microgame ported to the AiWE engine. Be sure to keep on a lookout for an upcoming "BarryWare Microgames" studio to see what 5 new microgames are confirmed for BarryWare 4.0!
