I used to wonder why in Season 16 Crystalized Mistaké was never mentioned to disprove that oni can be good. Yet I quickly realized what I believe is the reason why. Mistaké was seen as the exception not the rule. There was never another good oni, so it was assumed oni are evil. That’s perhaps why Wu was surprised that Garmadon became good. Because it was showing Mistaké wasn’t an exception, just the first. So basically at the end, Garmadon found a scroll Mistaké wrote years ago saying how she believed Garmadon could be the one to show oni aren’t all evil. Only thing is, when he found the scroll, Mistaké was already departed because of his hands. Now having to live with the guilt of actions that cannot be undone. ✤✤✤ Ninjago language translates to✤✤✤ Oni embody destruction, not evil. I wish other oni knew that. Perhaps, if they understood the beauty of creation and destruction. Maybe we could all co-exist. Yet, as it stands I am seen as the exception for my kind. Hopefully that may soon change. Young Garmadon has been harnessing his destruction to protect this realm. He shows great promise, as he always has. Perhaps he could be the one to show oni aren’t all evil. One could only hope. ✤✤✤ Music used✤✤✤ Beth Crowley - Hey. #Ninjago #Garmadon #Mistake #Art
