Explotanium is a lightweight metallic substance which is prone to exploding (as its name implies) that is caused by the result of being struck, ignited, pressurized, or depressurized. This clearly makes explotanium a dangerous material to handle with as it can combust if not taken care of properly One example of the element being hazardous is when the metal was first originally discovered when Celestial Incorporated attempted to expand their facility, but faced difficulty as the explotanium combusted once it was struck with the drills, causing them to get damaged and broken. While explotanium may seem inconvenient for its downsides relating to its semi-fragility, it can also have some benefits as explotanium is similar to that of an explosive, which means it can be used as a weapon like bombs; or even as a substitute.
