Mouse controls the paddle. Press spacebar to begin each level. Three levels total. Each higher row of bricks is a higher point value, and each level the points of the bricks increase. Difficulty increases each level with a higher ball speed and narrower paddle. The paddle bounce reacts like classic brick-break games. A hit in the center will result in a more vertical ball movement, and bounces closer to the ends will result in shallower angles. If you make the top 5 scores after three lives are expired or completing all three levels, you can input your name on the leaderboard.

I relied heavily on these two videos for the ball movement and reaction off the bricks, and the high-score leaderboard. However I'm extremely proud to say that I coded the realistic paddle bounce completely on my own. There are comments in the ball sprite code that explain a little about the equations used.
