it was all due to rain meadow!! i checked the consoleLog.txt and exceptionLog.txt in the "Rain World" folder, and it mostly mentioned rainmeadow and "monomod" so i disabled both from outside the game and guess what. i can finally use my menu again!!
edit: guess whos wrong. thats right, im wrong! i tried using meadow again, and it works just fine. i think rain meadow conflicts with that "monomod". i dont remember the name monomod was just the id i think
