Other part of Lore (His lore is kinda long, sorry)- Forever.L was torn up during the battle. Since he couldn't find any Life mushrooms, he (sometimes) results in trying to take another's life to use it as his. Although he tries to, a reminder of his brother always stops him. He still finds Mario always sad when someone mentions him. This still makes Luigi love him as his brother. Since its hard for him to see, he accidentally ran into a toad. Forever.L ran away to a forest near the mushroom kingdom. The toad spread his encounter with Forever.L to other toads. It finally reached Mario. However, Mario still thought Luigi was gone forever. Mario finally decided to check out the rumor of Luigi being in the woods. When he finds Luigi, Luigi attacks him. Since he's been kinda decaying, he has lost a lot of sense of sight and hearing. This leads to Mario having to fight him.
