a thingy based off of the tf2 creepypasta, serverblight this probably won't be real now you may be thinking: "BUT MIEK.. SCRATCH ISN'T AN ONLINE MULTIPLAYER GAME!!! THERE WOULDN'T BE A WAY FOR A SERVERBLIGHT SCRATCH THING TO WORK!!1!" well, you numbskull, the blight works a bit differently here. (nobody knows how serverblight actually began yet so i'm not gonna bother making up a beginning) if a user stays on an assimilated project for too long, said user will become linked to one of the characters shown in the project, if there are any. this will cause the user to basically possess the character they become linked to and see through their point of view. now, everything else that is living in the project is a threat. in order to avoid being assimilated yourself, you have to find a way to stop the project from inside of it. doing this will break the link and you will be safe. if you fail, well, you know the rest. but what happens when a user is assimilated, and not a project? if a user is assimilated, they will now be forever bound to the character they were once linked to, their soul directly inside of the character's body. unfortunately, they no longer have control of themselves. the blight now controls their every move, and they are forced to watch. the assimilated user gains the ability to traverse through different projects. once an assimilated user enters a project, all characters inside said project become sentient. the assimilated user will attempt to assimilate every character inside the project except for a select few, leaving them for unsuspecting users who visit the now assimilated project. if the assimilated user fails to complete its task. they will be wiped from existence, and the project their vessel comes from will reset, along with the character, waiting for the next user to fall victim.
