I was kind of nostalgic today, and decided to grace you guys with something I had only half completed and was just sitting in my unfinished projects. It's just some basic stuff about an election I had planned for the Omegan Republic or whatever I called it...
But more than that, I want to explain some things. First of all, where have I been? Well the simple answer is that I quit scratch, permanently. The truth is I'm getting too old for this kind of thing, not Omega, that's fine and will absolutely continue to be used when I find need for it. No, I mean scratch just isn't useful to me anymore. The community is a little... underdeveloped in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure all of you are very good at what your trying to do, however it is by no means on par with the CBU. And of course, scratch is simply below my skill level now. I know how to code, real code, with text and stuff. I'm an incoming college student of game design. And in reality, this place just doesn't cut it. And that leads to something else. I'm old. It doesn't exactly help my reputation if I hang around on an actual kids website, even if I barely have a reputation. I really won't stick around, but I do like to look back at some of my projects, because some of these are good. Rest assured that this likely won't be the last time you hear of the Omega Empire, or of me, but when you hear of it again, it likely won't be on scratch. As for those of you who may hold less than ideal views of me, which is actually the majority of you... I can't offer all that much, words aren't really my expertise. All I know is that I can learn from my mistakes, become a newer better person, and I think I'm doing a good job because I kind of hate my former self? So, good job maybe? Yeah okay that wasn't actually a good ending piece. uhhh... Well, I guess I'll be off. Don't expect much more than the occasional bad quality joke post, if even that.
