When I say "relationship" I mean the two consoles having a very close connection with each other, like the newer console being backwards compatible with the previous console’s games and controllers, and some times getting dual releases for games. Before you say the Gamecube didn't have a relationship with the Wii, the Wii could play Gamecube games and support Gamecube controllers.
