Help Hungry fish eat its full meal of 60 fish as fast as possible, in all 6 regular levels and 3 boss levels! Without dying of course :P This is the 8th release of the Hungry Fish series, dating all the way back to 2011. This is far the biggest redesign yet, built from the ground-up. INSTRUCTIONS (also posted in game) -------------------------------------------------------------------- - Use your mouse to move Hungry Fish around the screen. - For each level, eat sixty (60) fish as fast as you can while avoiding touching the hostile mobs. TIPS (also posted in game) -------------------------------------------------------------------- - Only completing the highest available level unlocks the next level. - Try obtaining a gold coin on all levels for optimal progression. - Be mindful with what upgrades you purchase over time. - Older levels can be repeated if you need more coins or lives! MORE INFO -------------------------------------------------------------------- - The game records your fastest completion time for each level, and even records the global record for each level. Try beating one of the global records! - Once you beat all 9 levels you'll be presented various statistics about your gameplay. Feel free to post these numbers on the comments below. - Bored? Type "cheat" on your keyboard in the Levels page. Once cheats are enabled, only resetting the game can fully turn them off. Only when cheats are NOT enabled can you officially beat the game after completing the final boss level. FYI, I was able to beat the game while getting a gold coin on all levels, without retrying any levels. So I challenge you to do the same! You can access the prototype (7th) version of the game, shared in my test account, here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1319920575 This series is based on the following project, which started it all: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/62835/ ======================================= CHANGELOG ======================================= 19 Sep 2026: v1.0.2 --------------------------- New addition: - Now the button sounds can be toggled and volume-adjusted separately from all other sounds (bite, sting, etc.). Change: - The level completion sound is now louder. 27 May 2026: Patch 1 - v1.0.1 ---------------------------------------- New additions: - The game version number is now listed on the lower-right corner of the welcome screen and lower-left corner of the game statistics (and completion) page. - Tweaked the number display on the "Level Complete" popup. Bug fixes: - The awarded coin type would be incorrect when the floor-rounded seconds elapsed value matched the gold or silver coin time threshold. Now if the floor-rounded seconds elapsed value is at most a level's gold/silver coin max time threshold, you will be assigned that respective coin. - The "boss retires" statistic was not incrementing when repeating the final boss level (). - Corrected a typo in the "Game Over" popup in the level screen. - The number 5 would not display correctly in the Settings and level screens. This has now been corrected. 13 May 2026: Official Release - v1.0.0 --------------------------------------------------- Key additions/enhancements: - Redesigned UI - Fully-functional bosses - Personal and global record tracking for level completion times - Enhanced upgrades - Statistics collection - Many, MANY bug fixes Made solely by .
