"Triton on the rocks" On the morning of May 17th, 2025 two Naidunese fishermen were hauling their catch back when they noticed a mysterious plume of warm and slightly agitated water. 2 Naidunese fisherman sailed back to home port and notified the nearby Naidunese naval base. The naidunese coastline is usually well protected from attack due to its shallow coastline, shielded by a belt of rocky islands which demanded careful circumnavigation. Somehow, the submarine had wound its way through this daunting aquatic obstacle course to a point only 12 miles away from the nearest naval base. A team of 2 APC's from naidunese reserves were dispatched and reached the grounded vessel by 11 a.m. No contact has been able to be made with the inhabitants in the submarine, however an optotronics mast was raised temporarily between 11:23 and 11:35 AM. No nation has claimed responsibility as of yet, but according to naidunese military experts, this submarine is a completely alien design compared to any GDA submarine. It has been classified by the codename: 'TRITON' by the GDA.
