lore from the sticky note Ximena Violet is a traveler between worlds, an explorer of the unknown who once called a vibrant, thriving realm her home. That was before Anos, the Demon King of Tyranny, arrived. His conquest was absolute, a storm of destruction and domination that left no sanctuary untouched. Ximena, once a soldier and protector, fought with everything she had her blades, her magic, her will. But in the end, even her fierce resistance crumbled under his overwhelming power. She did not perish. Instead, Anos bent her to his will, turning her into his personal soldier, his puppet an instrument of war wielded by the very tyrant she had sworn to destroy. Stripped of freedom yet alive, she became a weapon of destruction, carrying out his commands against her own people and beyond. Every battle under his banner chipped away at her soul, twisting the lines between duty and submission, survival and servitude. Then, at long last, she escaped. Now, in the unfamiliar world she calls her “new home,” Ximena struggles with the ghosts of her past. Her mind is still ensnared by the echoes of his control his voice, his commands, the weight of his dominion. Even in peace, she finds herself doing things that others find strange: standing at attention when hearing an authoritative voice, scanning rooms for exits and escape routes, moving with the rigid precision of a soldier long used to obeying orders without question. Worse still are the flashbacks. When someone shouts when a threat slices through the air, declaring intent to “turn her in” or force her into submission her mind fractures. Reality warps. She is back in his grasp, the chains of his control tightening around her throat, pulling her back into the nightmare she barely escaped. She fights against the phantoms, yet they persist, waiting for moments of weakness to drag her down into their suffocating depths. No matter how far she runs, Anos lingers in the corners of her mind. A force she cannot completely purge. A shadow she may never fully escape. Ximena Violet had tasted freedom brief, fleeting, but powerful enough to remind her of who she once was. After escaping Anos’ grasp, she wandered through different worlds, grasping at the fragments of identity that had been stripped from her. She was no longer a soldier under his tyranny, no longer bound to his will. Or at least, that was what she told herself. Yet freedom had its own cruelty. The world she called home the one she had fought for was gone, conquered and reshaped by his iron hand. And in this new world, she was a stranger. An outsider with scars no one could understand. She fought daily against instincts that had been carved into her against the urge to obey orders that no one had given, against the phantom weight of his presence in her mind. But no matter how far she ran, there was always the lingering fear that she was not truly free. And then, the fear became reality. She had underestimated him. Anos was not a king who let go of what he had claimed. He had allowed her escape for reasons she could not understand perhaps amusement, perhaps curiosity. But he had never truly released her. She was his soldier, his puppet, his creation. And when he decided it was time, he came for her. It was not an army that hunted her down. There was no grand battle, no desperate fight for survival. Anos did not need an army to retrieve what was his. He came alone, stepping into the world she had tried to make her own, and reached for her as if she had never left his grasp. Ximena fought. She fought harder than she ever had before because this time, it was not just her body she was trying to save. It was her mind, her soul, her identity. But against him, resistance was futile. His power smothered hers, wrapping around her like unbreakable chains, dragging her back into the abyss she had barely escaped. When she opened her eyes, she was no longer in the world she had fled to. She was back where she had started before her escape, before her defiance, before she had tried to carve out a life without him. And Anos? He was waiting for her to submit to his will again.
