- A Basic Guide to Shading (by a mid, tired artist) - I joined a Scratch art class thing a few months ago (as a substitude teacher??? which idk how that works on a Scratch studio) but it has been really dormant and I've been itching to see some of the artists here have actually serviceable tutorials to learn from so here I am. Doing one. I chose shading because it's the art thing I understand best. I'll likely do basic cat anatomy, posing, and color palettes at a later date.
my best advice to new artists out there - don't believe random Scratch artist's art advice. if it doesn't work for you, don't use it. your art is whatever you want to be and you don't have to follow something if it isn't working (that even applies to this. I am not a perfect artist lol--) all mine. donut steel >:::((((( I feel like this is missing a lot but I can't quite place it. ignore the awful handwritten words the text editor in Scratch is worse than in MS Paint OG SHARE DATE ~ OCT 20 24
