This is the the fifth part to the spinoff of @DEMOMAN9000's adventure series. -----Controls--------------------------------------------------------- MUSHA and Rainfire have returned from the previous parts, and a new craft, Flying Baron, is introduced! Each craft has its own unique gimmick in battle, its own unique support unit, and 3 special attacks, a piercing attack, spread attack, and screen clear attack, each one having a unique one of its own. WASD - Move Around Space - Default/Secondary Shot (In battle), Confirm Choice (Fighter Select) Q and E - Rotate Gun-Bits (When playing MUSHA), Move Gilburt (When playing Rainfire) 1 Key - Switch weapons (When playing MUSHA), Piercing special attack (When playing Rainfire and Flying Baron) 2 and 3 keys - Spread and Screen Clear special attack (When playing Rainfire and Flying Baron) Z - Reset Gun-Bit positioning (For MUSHA only) X - Toggle on/off support units. Turning them off doesn't have much value except for adding a bit more challenge if you're in for it. This works for all crafts except Rainfire since Gilburt is an essential part of its kit. 1, 2 and 3 are also used to switch choice in the fighter select. 1 for MUSHA, 2 for Rainfire, 3 for Flying Baron. Fighter Descriptions -MUSHA: He is the iconic protagonist mecha of the series and the balanced fighter of the 3 fighters in the game. Piloted by Koishi Komeiji, MUSHA's gimmick allows him to switch and adapt weapons during combat. He has a pair of gun-bits that fire piercing kunai-like shots and can rotate around to hit enemies from different angles. His first special weapon is the beam cannon, which fires piercing green beams. His second weapon is the bomb launcher, which fires up to 6 bombs per shot which have huge blast radius, and for the third, he trades a screen clear attack for the barrier generator, which creates a forcefield that makes him invincible to projectiles for a short period of time and also destroys enemies that are hapless enough to come in contact with it. Beware though! Some attacks (Such as laser beams) can pierce the shield! (Note: The Gun-bits can still damage shielded enemies and bosses, however these kinds of enemies are much more well-armoured so the shots won't pierce through them like normal.) -Rainfire: A mech from a different universe, piloted by Reisen. While it is slow, it makes up for having the most destructive firepower of the 3 fighters in the game. Its robot pet, Gilburt, not only fires small but powerful missiles, but also absorbs enemy bullets coloured blue, pink or red to charge up Rainfire's special attacks. Its piercing attack, the spreader laser, is a slow but damaging weapon that sweeps through tough enemies with ease. Its spread attack, the checkered plane call, calls in 4 support planes which fire at foes relentlessly and also serve as cover against hard-to-dodge projectiles. Lastly, its screen clear attack, the bomber strike, calls in an allied bomber which sweeps the screen with powerful thunderbolts, igniting deadly explosions which can take out even the toughest of foes. -Flying Baron: A special fighter plane powered by mysterious mana technology, piloted by Marisa Kirisame. It's the fastest of the 3 fighters in the game with quick firerate which helps compensate for its lower damage. It has significantly less health compared to the other 2 but thanks to its mana repair system, overtime, damage inflicted to the craft will be patched up. Its piercing attack is Marisa's signature Master Spark, a devastating multicoloured beam with lots of area of effect that clears enemy projectiles. Its spread attack is the magic missile, special missiles generated by mana, and for its screen clear, it calls in the Boku Bomber, a zeppelin-like craft that drops down bombs on the enemy in a vertical row, depending on the position of Flying Baron. Throughout the game, allied craft will also drop pickups that will refresh your special weapons if they're not at the maximum capacity. However, don't be too distracted by them you forget to dodge enemy fire or avoid colliding with enemies! -----Story------------------------------------------------------------- Teaming up with Marisa and her scavengers and with the help of the Middle Eastern armies, Koishi and her allies launch their attack on the Crimson Imperial's most recently completed aerial fleet, the Project 55 cruisers, to save the Middle East from being taken over by the Imperial. This is one of the toughest battles Koishi and her allies will face by far, as the enemy force is starting to get stronger and deadlier. -------------------------------------------------------------------------
